The bakery of the Cianciullo family was established in 1967 in the small village of Jelsi, in the province of Campobasso, located in the region of Molise. The passion for homemade bread and sweets was passed down to Francesco Cianciullo from his father, Pasquale. Francesco’s love for his artisanal work began when he was young, spending entire days in the bakery with his father, breathing the scent of freshly baked bread and shortcrust pastry as he experimented with the correct way to break the eggs and learned the proper technique in using a sac à poche. These are the memories that Francesco holds close to his heart and it is this enthusiasm that he has handed down to his son, Pasquale, who one day will lead Cianciullo into its future. Francesco’s wife, Caterina, and his daughter, Michela, have been the heart and soul of the family business, exemplifying strength, courage, and determination. Caterina has stood by her husband’s side, bringing her knowledge and expertise, learned from past generations of her mother and grandmother. Michela currently cultivates the interest in the family’s product line throughout Italy and abroad.
