Panettone with Raisins and Balsamic Cream, 750g

Panettone is made in Italy only during the Christmas season.  It has a domed shape, with a soft and airy interior beneath a dark exterior. The cake dough requires several hours to make because it must be cured in a way similar to sourdough, rising and falling three times before being baked.

Our special Panettone made with raisins and balsamic cream is a delightfully moist, delicious cake to help celebrate this most precious season of Christmas.

Our producer, Acetaia Castelli, was chosen by us because of their drive for  excellence. They are located in Rio Saliceto, a sunny village in the Reggio Emilia territory where the summer is hot and dry, creating the perfect condition for a sublime balsamic vinegar which is religiously kept in the attic.
Quality is the company’s philosophy, handed down by family which is now in its 4th generation.  This quality is reflected by the carefulness in which they choose vineyards, where only D.O.C. grapes are used and everything is constantly kept in check and improved. Acetaia’s philosophy is always the same. The products are made with only cooked grape must and sometime together with wine vinegar, all from their vineyards. There are no external sources such as colorant, thickeners nor other chemical ingredients.
