Panzerotti with Hazelnut Cream are half moon shaped pastries filled with hazelnut cream and then topped with chopped hazelnuts. The Panzerotti pastries are the flagship product of the Cianciullo bakery. Pastry chef, Francesco Cianciullo, carefully nurtures and works the sourdough pastry base to give it the highest quality of ingredients, digestibility, flavor, and texture. The pastry process takes approximately 72 hours to reach perfection. These pastries are filled with a creamy hazelnut filling and then sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts on top. They are make an excellent light breakfast, dessert, or midday pick-me-up.
